Dissertation title: Diet and risk of brain tumours in the UK Million Women Study and US NIH-AARP Diet and Health Study

Ai Seon Kuan joined the Cancer Epidemiology Unit in 2015, and is studying for a DPhil. Prior to coming to the Unit, he studied medicine at the National Yang-Ming University in Taiwan, and completed an MSc in Global Health Science at Oxford. His main research interest is in diseases of the central nervous system, and particularly brain tumour epidemiology.

For his DPhil, he is exploring nutritional risk factors for subtypes of brain tumours in the UK Million Women Study cohort and the US National Institute of Health and American Association of Retired Person Diet and Health Study cohort.
