Kate Coffey is an obstetrics and gynaecology trainee with an interest in colposcopy and lower genital tract neoplasia. She went to school in Canada, St. Lucia, and the United Arab Emirates, dragged around the globe by a travel-loving mother.  She did her undergraduate degree at Newnham College, Cambridge, and read Archaeology and Anthropology, with a Part II in History and Philosophy of Science. She went to St George's in Tooting, and came out with a degree in Medicine and a future husband, Sean. House jobs and medical training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology followed, in Bristol, Newcastle, Sunderland, and New Zealand. Never one to let the grass grow under her feet, Kate also has three children who add to the fun and general chaos of life.
