How to find us

The Richard Doll Building is located on the University of Oxford’s Old Road Campus [PDF of map], adjacent to the Churchill Hospital, to the east of the city centre.

By Car

If travelling using a GPS, the postcode will provide a route for drop off only. We encourage all visitors to use alternatives to driving where possible.

The best place to park is Thornhill Park & Ride.

Visitor parking on site is very limited and visitor parking permits must be displayed at all times (permits obtainable from reception only). If all parking permits are in use you will be asked to take your vehicle off site.

Visitors and contractors of the University must not park on hospital car parks as they are strictly for patients and visitors of the hospital. Non compliance with this rule will attract a Civil Parking Notice
