Epidemiologist
Owen Yang is interested in research and practice in long-term determinants of health and life-course approach to medicine. He also tries to develop appropriate methods to use large data for research so that they can be applied in real clinical settings.
He recently returned to clinical practice and is a GP registrar. He is also a BMA member who advocates for a workforce with diversified culture and career portfolio for everyone.
Owen trained as a paediatrician at the National Taiwan University and NTU Hospital. He then completed DPhil in Education at the University of Oxford in 2009 before he joined the Cancer Epidemiology Unit (CEU).
